Things that make you go "huh?"

The new Hulk movie is apparently being criticized because of smoking in the movie by the Hulk's nemesis General Ross.

Yeah, because I know I grew up wanting to be just like Thunderbolt Ross....

While not an out and out villain, General Ross is NOT the hero. People are getting just a tad silly.

Really, don't we have better things to do with our time than LOOK for ridiculous things to be offended about?

Because having our hero shooting himself up God-Knows-What for experimental purposes is okay for the kids to see? No wonder baseball is having such steroid problems! All those guys grew up with the Hulk. Although if the damn movie would have stayed true to the comic we wouldn't have to deal with the shooting up issue....sigh.

I wouldn't smoke a cigarette if you paid me (cigars are another matter!) but do we really have to hear from these AMA folks everytime some one lights up? Smoking is bad. We get it.

I mean, comics haven't been the same since Marvel cut off Wolverine and Fury from the good old Whacky-Tobaccy. And we all know that a good comic is more important to our health than good lungs.

Plus, did you hear that one of the big smoke companies released a cigarette that had better filters (i.e. at least a little safer) and they are pulling them from the shelves since no one bought them? Interesting.

If anyone wants to be angry at Thunderbolt Ross how about the actor's guild, since his acting about kept me from ever wanting to see a movie again.

Or how about women get upset that they portrayed Betty Ross as so needy for affection that she would chase a monster who can toss around tanks if he gets even a little pissed.

I know, I know, that's the comic. But I always thought she was a little sick that way. I don't care how much you love someone. If you're normal you get the hell out of there after he destroys a major city and uses helicopters as tennis rackets.

I'm just saying...
